About Me

My name is Catherine. I am a 1st grade teacher, wife, mom of 2, dog mom,  San Diegan, lover of natural products, and a yogi. 

I have been teaching for 8 years, and I was fortunate enough to find other bloggers during my first couple years of teaching. I felt that my credential program did not prepare me to deal with the realities of teaching. I am so grateful for all of the bloggers who have helped me to become the teacher I am today, and I hope to help and inspire other teachers along their teaching journey. Although I may not have all the teaching answers, I strive daily to teach with love, kindness, and collaboration in mind.

I have been a resource teacher of students grades K-6, and a teacher of a K/1 combo, kindergarten class, and my current position is a 1st grade teacher.
